History

YOLCAR is a dynamic and innovative company with a long standing experience in the transportation sector. Founders Jesús Sánchez and Pilar Muñoz have always stood to the occasion, sharing with their customers the enthusiasm for their work based on responsibility and professionalism for each service. Therefore, ever since 1968 each of the projects we undertake include in our fees exquisite professionalism, kindness, honesty and dedication. It belongs to our nature and to our identity. We are passionate for the bus industry and the transportation sector.

We began our journey with a “Volkswagen Tempo”, aimed at short transfers. Over time we expanded our services and fleet. 1996 was especially meaningful to us because at that time we disposed of 12 coaches and 23 people on the payroll, and in the interval of two months, we increased our fleet to 24 coaches and to 72 our number of employees. These figures remain to date.

In short, we have witnessed the birth of the tachograph; we have grown with the country economic fundamentals; we have witnessed the creation and expansion of our system of roads and highways as well as the shift from gas heating oil to air convectors as air conditioning did not exist then! We feel we have been a part of the history of our industry and with the introduction of gradual improvements we became part of that small group of companies that were pioneers in modernizing and improving our market. Specifically, this interest for the improvement and quality in services has made us one of the first companies to: introduce the use of safety belts on all seats, to include monitors on school routes and to obtain the ISO Quality Certificates ever since 2000.

Currently we advocate for a careful business management model to: train and highly motivate our team, bet on innovation and safety of the fleet, highlight personalized service to our customers and generate a climate of trust and reliability when hiring a service with these features, close to you and at the same time of much responsibility.
