The discretionary transport, purpose of our company, is known for offering a wide range of services for international and/or domestic travel. YOLCAR’s team is perfectly qualified and in possession of many skills to undertake this service.
Comprised of over 70 highly qualified professionals, all areas are rigorously managed. Yet two of the critical groups at YOLCAR, because of their responsibility in customer service, are the Drivers and Monitors for School Routes.
Drivers
- Know the roads and the Spanish and European regulations.
- Be able to drive on main, secondary and mountain roads.
- Driving in adverse weather conditions: Sun, snow, water, ice and wind.
- Know all the mechanisms of a high-tech machine such as a bus.
- Resolve unexpected circumstances.
- Basic emergency mechanics.
- Adapting to different types of clientele they travel with.
- Stress management during emergencies.
Monitors
- Be prepared to attend up to 50 children of all ages.
- Know how to resolve conflicts from the point of view of each child’s personality.
- Meet the needs of different parents.
- Work under time pressure and while in movement.
- Work in environments outside a school area.
- Know First Aid techniques.
- Be aware of the security systems of the bus.
- Be aware of the transportation routes.
- Motivation.
- Preserving the security, privacy and confidentiality of minors in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

We firmly believe that the lack of fluency in business processes are mostly due to communication and emotional issues, at YOLCAR we have implemented a very innovative program opened to the participation of the entire team. Involved in it are the executive board, middle management and garage and transportation staff to solve these issues. Among the aspects we consider in their learning period we advocate them to be innovative. As far as what we offer them: to learn physical exercises to avoid postural stress while driving, to apply emotional intelligence in customer service, to practice breathing control to master stress in traffic jams, optimization and correct use of time, patterns of protocol, pay attention to eating and exercise habits etc. We consider a priority the implementation of all these initiatives in order to achieve maximum safety and to offer exquisite customer service.
