Innovation and technology have been constant elements in the bus industry. The most advanced safety systems developed from major R+D+I have co-lived with the engineering, mechanical and design revolutions undergone in our market. With these breakthroughs, those of us who have invested in them can meet the needs of our community by providing them with high-tech vehicles, and comfortable and modern; obtaining thus the highest ratings in the sector.
It is inherent to the corporate culture at YOLCAR to maintain our vehicles constantly updated. For the past five years we have renewed 60% of our fleet and given special attention to the cleanliness and hygiene of our spaces in order for the inside and outside of our fleet to transmit dedication and mime to the service of our passengers.
We were pioneers in the implementation of safety belts when they were still not regarded as essential. We integrate seats in our vehicles with high-end embedded German engineering, which, among other advantages have allowed us to differentiate ourselves from competition and adopt a committed attitude to offer customers something more than a trip or a travel experience. In effect a space in which to safely live many experiences together.
Likewise, in accordance to our policy to act competently and responsibly, at YOLCAR we guarantee that all vehicles are updated according to the law and strictly comply with required certificates and regulations contained in Law 16/1987 of July 30 regarding Regulation on Land Transportation.
For all this, it is of our greatest interest to inform you in detail about the following aspects:
1 – All vehicles have two types of insurances
Compulsory Passenger Insurance (SOVI) covering all possible incidents occurring inside the vehicle, both for the passengers and their belongings.
Car Insurance covering any incident with third parties and implying a liability insurance covering damage caused by our vehicles in the performance of their duties. Coverage of up to 50,000,000 Euros.
2 – Standards of hygiene and cleaning
The excellence of our service is characterized by the cleanliness and hygiene of our fleet, both exteriorly and interiorly. We care for each vehicle remaining immaculate on services shifts. This way we ensure optimal transportation.
3 – Being aware of the importance of respecting the environment
All additions to our fleet since 2000, include engines reducing gas emissions and waste, thus complying to the strict rules of Euro -3, Euro -4 and Euro -5 engines. Our engines are mainly Mercedes, Scania, Volvo and Cummins.

- Slippage Traction System (ASR).
- Emergency Brake Assist (BAS).
- Electronic Stability Control (ESP).

- Anti-Roll R. D. 66.
- Central security control (against hard collisions it cuts the electric current and empties circuits to prevent explosions).
- Anti entrapment device sensitivity incorporated in doors.
- Double glass (in case of breakage only one breaks).
- Special rearview mirrors preventing deadlocks and vehicle surroundings for the safety of passengers on the sidewalk or nearby.
- Retro-camera allowing a better view of any movements behind the bus.
- Fire sensors in luggage compartment and rear.
- Xenon lights allowing for better vision.
- Additional extra long light.
- Emergency hammers for evacuations.
- Fire extinguishers (Certificates with required supervision registry)
- Safety belts on all seats.
- Air conditioning / heating.
- Double windows for better soundproofing and air conditioning.
- Reclining seats of the highest quality.
- Warm and friendly interior lighting.
